All priests, deacons, principals, teachers, coaches, youth ministers and lay staff and volunteers who interact with children in diocesan parish and school-sponsored programs are required to attend a Protecting God's Children workshop. All adults over 18 years of age must attend these FREE workshops if they are volunteering in any way with our youth. By learning together, we all play a part in keeping our parishes and schools safe for children.

In addition to attending a Protecting God's Children workshop all volunteers must also complete State of Missouri Mandated Reporter training, background check and sign the diocesan Ethics and Integrity in Ministry (EIM) document.
