There are three kinds of in-Church funerals: With the deceased’s body present; with the deceased’s cremains present; a memorial Mass without the deceased’s body or cremains.
Your funeral director will discuss with you the fees involved for the use of the Church, the priest’s stipend, musicians and altar servers and handle those arrangements for you.
After discussing arrangements with your funeral director of choice, please have them call the Church to confirm the day and time. After arrangements are settled, a priest and/or music director will meet with you to learn more about the deceased and plan the particulars of the funeral liturgy with you.
