Eucharistic Adoration

Simply adoring Christ’s Real Presence in the Eucharist.

Spending time with Christ in Eucharistic Adoration can draw one into deeper communion with Our Eucharistic Lord.

The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease ~ (CCC 1380)

“at the moment of consecration” (CCC 1377), the bread and wine “become Christ’s body and blood” (CCC 1333). The Eucharist is “the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained” (CCC 1374).
 

What do I do in Eucharistic Adoration?

1.  Meditate on scripture

2.  Pray the Rosary

3.  Sit quietly and just "be" in the presence of Our Eucharistic Lord

4.  Ask for forgiveness and intercede for others

5.  Pour out your heart to Christ and adore Him

6.  Read the life of a saint and pray with him or her
